Movement Labs (formerly Resistance Labs) is a brand that is dedicated to building a country that works for everyone. Their mission is to use data, technology, and experimental methods along with a passionate army of volunteers to generate power. With a focus on grassroots organizing, they utilize peer-to-peer texting to recruit candidates for office and support them in winning.

Movement Labs seeks opportunities to work in red and rural areas, as well as with communities that have been historically overlooked. Since their launch in 2017, Movement Labs has sent over 200 million texts, collaborating with some of the nation's top progressive organizations and campaigns in all 50 states. They have mobilized over 11,000 volunteers for change.

Any revenue generated from their operations is reinvested into running experiments for the movement, incubating new social welfare organizations, or providing pro-bono assistance to critical grassroots activists. Currently, Movement Labs is incubating Contest Every Race, an initiative that encourages activists to run for uncontested offices. They also offer programs to help movement groups respond to COVID-19 and de-radicalize the far right.
