## Description

Lycksele Retroevent is a community-focused event organiser based in Lycksele, Sweden. Since 2004, the organisation has created events and meeting places that bring people together, from families and young visitors to motorsport enthusiasts. Its activities are closely connected to local life, with a welcoming approach that encourages people to share experiences and enjoy the community.

A central part of its programme is Motorveckan, a major Lycksele event featuring activities for all ages. Over the years, Retroevent has organised a varied range of attractions, including soapbox races, burnout competitions, Watercross Swedish Championship events and truck shows. The organisation also stages snowmobile competitions throughout the year: Watercross in summer, followed by ice oval racing and hillclimb events in winter.

Beyond motorsport, Retroevent hosts relaxed gatherings at Arena Älven, where visitors can meet around a bonfire, share stories and spend time together. The organisation continues to develop its activities and facilities, including adding equipment for visitors during weekends and organised events.
