## Description

The RetroRonde is a nostalgic cycling event organized by Centrum Ronde van Vlaanderen vzw in Oudenaarde, celebrating the character and atmosphere of historic bike races. Set in the Flemish Ardennes, it invites participants to ride classic steel bicycles and wear vintage cycling jerseys, recreating the spirit of cycling in the 1960s and 1970s. The event emphasizes enjoyment, camaraderie, and an authentic retro experience rather than speed alone, offering a chance to discover the region on two wheels while sharing in the traditions of races from earlier generations.

After a short break, the RetroRonde is scheduled to return on June 3 and 4, 2028; there will be no edition in 2027. Its website provides practical information for attendees and riders, including the programme, course locations, rules, frequently asked questions, and photographs from past editions. The organization can be contacted in Oudenaarde by email or telephone, and its information is available in several languages. The RetroRonde brings together cycling heritage, local scenery, and a welcoming community celebration.
