## Description

Re-use Hawai‘i is a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to reducing waste, creating jobs, and promoting a circular economy through innovative deconstruction and material reuse. With a mission to transform waste into valuable resources, Re-use Hawai‘i offers sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and the community. Their core programs include deconstruction services, where they provide eco-friendly alternatives to traditional demolition, and a store that connects the public with affordable reclaimed materials. Additionally, they engage in tree milling, turning locally felled trees into usable wood for various design projects. Their workforce development initiatives create job opportunities for individuals overcoming employment barriers, ensuring an inclusive approach to economic growth. Since its inception, Re-use Hawai‘i has significantly impacted the community by diverting thousands of tons of waste from landfills and facilitating immense cost savings for the local economy.
