## Description

Revels is a brand that brings people of all ages and backgrounds together through musical and theatrical celebrations of cultural and seasonal traditions. Established in 1971, Revels has become known for its annual December production called The Midwinter Revels. However, they offer much more than just one show. Revels hosts a variety of programs and events throughout the year, including Revels RiverSing, Spring Sing, salons, FRINGE concerts, harbor cruises, and pub sings. They also have a strong focus on education and outreach, with programs like the Performing Arts Curricular Series, adult lecture and skills series, theater workshops, and school enrichment programs. Revels is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, celebrating the differences that make individuals and cultures unique while connecting us all through music, dance, and storytelling. Founded by John Meredith Langstaff, Revels carries on his legacy of bringing traditional music and rituals to new audiences. Join Revels and experience the transformative power of performance and the joy of celebration.
