## Description

The Real Federación Española de Karate y Disciplinas Asociadas (RFEK y DA) is Spain’s national federation for karate and associated martial arts. It supports and promotes a broad range of disciplines, including karate, parakarate, kenpo, kung fu and Nihon Tai-Jitsu, bringing together athletes, clubs and regional federations. The federation coordinates a national calendar of competitions, championships, leagues and training events, including the Liga Nacional and Liga Iberdrola, and shares event information, results and national-team announcements. Its website offers practical resources for participants and affiliated organisations, such as information on grades, regulations, arbitration, protective equipment and competition procedures. The federation also maintains programmes and departments focused on areas including children’s karate, self-defence, traditional karate, women and sport, coaching and athlete development. For parakarate, it provides guidance on training, educational foundations and accessible sporting contexts. In addition, the RFEK y DA publishes news, circulars, reports and audiovisual materials, and provides information about its governance, committees, transparency and regional federations.
