## Description

Rheinbach Liest e.V. is a literary and cultural association dedicated to encouraging reading and bringing people together through books and storytelling in and around Rheinbach. Its activities include regular events, reading-promotion initiatives, and projects that support local literary and cultural life. The association invites audiences to listen, read aloud, and participate, with activities designed for children, young people, and adults.

Its programme ranges from author and literature events to poetry days, a poetry slam, spontaneous readings, and performances in venues across the city. Children and families can enjoy offerings such as a reading garden, puppet theatre, and “Kids am Kamin” sessions. Rheinbach Liest also shares book recommendations across age groups, including picture books and titles for young readers, and features members and authors reading stories online. Community projects include the seasonal Bücherüberraschung, supported by donations of children’s and young adult books. The association welcomes people who want to support reading or become involved as members, and publicizes upcoming concerts, readings, and other cultural events.
