## Description

The Rhodes Trust is a prestigious brand that oversees the Rhodes Scholarships, the oldest and most esteemed international fellowship awards worldwide. Each year, 32 exceptional young students from the United States are chosen as Rhodes Scholars through a decentralized process. These scholars are selected from more than 320 American colleges and universities, representing all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Rhodes Scholars are not only recognized for their outstanding academic achievements but also for their character, commitment to others, and potential for leadership. The Rhodes Trust, a British charity honoring the will of Cecil J. Rhodes, provides full financial support for these scholars to study at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. Established in 1902, the Rhodes Scholarships have a rich history, with the first scholars arriving at Oxford in 1903. The Rhodes Trust collaborates with generous benefactors like John McCall MacBain to ensure scholars can pursue their degrees and contribute to the common good. For United States citizens and lawful permanent residents, the Rhodes Scholarships offer a life-changing opportunity to join a community of talented individuals who are making a positive impact. To learn more about the Rhodes Trust and its scholars, you can explore their website or connect with them on social media platforms.
