## Description

The Richland #44 School Foundation supports students, staff, and the wider community served by Richland #44 schools in Colfax, North Dakota. Its mission is to create educational and enrichment opportunities through scholarships, funding, and community support. The foundation offers the Darrell Hendrickson Scholarship for graduating seniors and accepts requests for foundation funding to benefit school programs and activities. It also encourages alumni to stay connected and invites individuals to contribute, volunteer, and take part in fundraising events.

A major initiative is The 44 Venue, a community space made possible by donors and supporters. Events held at the venue help further the foundation’s purpose of giving back to Richland #44. Plans include expanding the venue to add a performing arts center, creating further opportunities for creativity and connection for current and future students. The foundation shares updates through its newsroom, events calendar, meeting minutes, and photo gallery, and offers email sign-ups for supporters who want to stay informed.
