## Description

The Richmond Sockeyes are a Junior Hockey organization based in Richmond, British Columbia, and members of the British Columbia Hockey Conference. Founded in 1972, the team has a long-standing place in the local hockey community, with a tradition centered on hard work, teamwork, and community spirit. The Sockeyes aim to develop players on and off the ice while giving fans an exciting hockey experience. The organization has earned multiple championships and has helped players progress to higher levels of the sport.

Home games are played at Minoru Arena, where supporters can attend throughout the season. Tickets are available through Showpass or at the door, with different prices for adults, seniors, students, and youth, while children six and under enter free. The Sockeyes also offer ways for the community to get involved through volunteering, sponsorships, donations, camps, and the Jr. Sockeyes program. Fans can follow team news, schedules, standings, player statistics, photos, and live coverage through the organization’s website and social media.
