## Description

Lurking on Twitch is a popular practice among viewers who want to passively watch live streams or recorded videos without actively engaging in chat. While you may not participate in discussions, your view still counts, showing support to the streamer. Whether you're occupied with other tasks, prefer not to interact, or simply want to support the content creator, lurking provides a way to enjoy the content without direct engagement. As a Twitch streamer, enabling the "lurk command" allows viewers to notify you of their lurking status, reducing any misunderstandings. Different chatbots like Streamlabs, StreamElements, or Night Bot offer this feature, enabling users to input a command that notifies the streamer and other viewers. Lurking has been popularized over time and is a valuable way for viewers to silently enjoy content while still supporting their favorite streamers.
