## Description

Ricordi is a music publishing brand and part of Universal Music Publishing Group, serving performers, institutions, researchers, and audiences interested in classical and contemporary music. Its catalogue brings together works by composers across its publishing repertoire, supported by resources such as critical editions, collections and series, and information about representations. The site also features a digital catalogue and a dedicated section for operetta, including Forberg.

A central focus is the preparation and availability of authoritative editions. Recent offerings include critical editions of Donizetti’s Il Furioso all’Isola di San Domingo, available for rental, and Caterina Cornaro, available for rental and sale. Ricordi also publishes catalogue materials on major composers and their works, including a Puccini Critical Edition brochure detailing different versions of his masterpieces and an anniversary catalogue devoted to Luigi Nono. Through its archive, news, composer profiles, and Ricordilab features, the brand connects its historical publishing heritage with current musical activity.
