## Description

Riddel Light Home is a social welfare corporation serving older adults and communities in Kumamoto City, Japan. Guided by the idea of connecting people like threads and engaging with gratitude for the past, the organization provides care and welfare services through its facilities, including Riddel Home Tatsuta, Knot Home, and the residential paid nursing home Kurokami no Ie. Its work also includes practical support for care and nursing staff, such as care worker training, workplace development, and in-house professional education. Beyond facility-based services, Riddel Light Home undertakes community-focused initiatives, including rehabilitation activities through “Pura-Riha” and efforts to share the appeal of caregiving. The corporation also supports people facing financial hardship through its rescue program and contributes to disaster preparedness and response. Its activities include welfare shelter planning and training, assistance during major regional disasters, and cooperation with local authorities on disaster measures. Through care, staff development, rehabilitation, and community support, Riddel Light Home connects residents, families, employees, and local partners in its work across the region.
