# Rideau Skating - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `rideauskating.ca` ## Description Rideau Skating Club is a Skate Canada-sanctioned club in Ontario, serving the community for 50 seasons. With more than 500 members, it welcomes skaters of all abilities, from beginners enjoying recreational skating to athletes pursuing competitive development. The club operates primarily at Manotick Arena, with some sessions at Fred Barrett Arena on Leitrim Road, and offers programming from September through April as well as during summer months. Its programs include CanSkate, which introduces skaters of all ages to balance, control and agility, and STARSkate, where participants develop figure-skating skills in freeskate, dance and skating skills. Adult options include CanSkate for those aged 12 and older and STARSkate for adults aged 18 and older, supporting both new and returning skaters. The club also offers Future Stars and Advanced CanSkate, adult daytime skating, a Capital Ice Adult III Synchro Team, and invite-only STAR Enrichment.
