## Description

Quasar Medical develops and manufactures medical balloons, catheters, components, and device assemblies, helping customers move from concept to prototype and production. The company combines design, development, and manufacturing services, with rapid prototyping that can deliver a balloon prototype in days. Its capabilities include extrusion, injection molding, tooling and mold design, UV curing, laser bonding, balloon folding, marker-band swaging, catheter testing, validation, packaging, and shipping.

Quasar Medical offers semi-compliant, non-compliant, and compliant balloons, as well as bladed, perfusion, multi-lumen, drug-delivery, sensor, TAVI, PTA, and PTCA balloon products. It also manufactures catheter shafts, multi-lumen and balloon extrusions, manifolds, strain reliefs, over-molded hubs, and other components. Solutions support structural heart, cardiovascular, neurovascular, peripheral, esophageal, and occlusion applications. Balloons can be customized in materials including Nylon and Pebax, with diameters from 1.5 to 38 millimeters and lengths up to 300 millimeters. Quasar Medical supports prototyping, small-scale production, and full-scale manufacturing, operating an ISO 13485:2016-certified Class 8 cleanroom.
