## Description

Ridgefield 4th of July Celebration is an incorporated, volunteer-run nonprofit organization that brings the Ridgefield, Washington, community together each year to honor Independence Day. For more than a century, the celebration has grown into a festival that attracts an estimated 5,000 people, welcoming residents and visitors of all ages. Its volunteer committee focuses on patriotic traditions and community spirit, without promoting political or religious agendas.

The annual event offers a fun run, a parade, free outdoor entertainment, contests, games, food and beverages, and arts and crafts. Activities take place around community gathering spots including downtown Ridgefield and Overlook Park, with parking and shuttle information provided for attendees. The organization also coordinates participation through parade and vendor applications and invites local businesses and individuals to support the festivities as sponsors or donors. Funding from donations, vendor fees, and other application fees helps make the celebration possible. Ridgefield 4th of July Celebration combines family-friendly activities and local involvement to create a lively community event marking the nation’s birthday.
