## Description

RIGHTABOUTNOW INC. is an interdisciplinary hip-hop and urban production house and performing arts centre based in Amsterdam. Founded by Marjorie Boston and Maarten van Hinte, it brings emerging makers and performers to wider audiences through productions, events, exhibitions and social projects in the Netherlands and abroad. The organisation offers a platform for artists inspired by the city and hip-hop, championing diverse perspectives as a source of cultural renewal and artistic innovation.

Its work spans music and theatre, performance and community-focused projects. The annual RIGHTABOUTNOW Festival presents an eclectic programme of performing arts through a hip-hop lens, combining influences from music, street culture and club culture and featuring both emerging and established artists. The company also creates work for young audiences, including the hip-hop opera LENNOX.

RIGHTABOUTNOW INC. supports its performances with educational and contextual programming, such as workshops, teaching materials, school visits, exhibitions, podcasts, talks and introductions. Based on IJburg, it also organises neighbourhood projects and events.
