## Description

Right On Crime is a national campaign led by the Texas Public Policy Foundation, dedicated to promoting conservative solutions for reducing crime and improving the criminal justice system. Established in Texas in 2007, Right On Crime has been at the forefront of implementing conservative criminal justice reforms. With a team of 14 policy analysts, researchers, and legal experts working across the country, Right On Crime has successfully advocated for proven reforms in 38 states. Their accomplishments include supporting comprehensive juvenile justice reform, overhauling civil asset forfeiture laws, establishing oversight committees to ensure effective management of taxpayer funds, closing prisons, and redirecting savings towards recidivism-reducing programs. Right On Crime's main goal is to ensure that public safety policies are evaluated based on their effectiveness and cost-efficiency. They aim for a criminal justice system that incapacitates dangerous offenders while avoiding the unnecessary criminalization of nonviolent, low-risk individuals. By enforcing order and respecting individual rights, Right On Crime strives to maintain a well-functioning criminal justice system.
