## Description

Rijvereniging Hasselt is a welcoming equestrian club based in Hasselt, Overijssel, around 10 to 15 minutes by car from Zwolle. The club offers opportunities to enjoy many aspects of horse riding, with the exception of trotting and harness racing. Beginners and experienced riders are welcome, and children learning to ride can use the club’s ponies. Members and horse owners can access indoor and outdoor arenas, with or without stable space, for a fee. The facility has room to stable up to 20 ponies or horses and hosts several indoor and outdoor dressage competitions each year.

The club describes itself as small, enthusiastic and committed to making riding enjoyable and accessible. To help keep the hobby affordable, members are expected to contribute to the association, for example by helping with stable duties, the canteen or other facility work. Rijvereniging Hasselt is affiliated with the Royal Dutch Equestrian Sports Federation (KNHS). Its riding lessons take place from Monday to Friday, with scheduled sessions in the late afternoon and evening.
