## Description

Ring History is a research archive and modern encyclopedia covering professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. It brings events, people, championships, and defining moments together in a connected, searchable database, helping fans and researchers explore combat sports history and cite or embed what they find.

The archive includes 15,504 events and 9,529 historic moments from organizations such as WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, AEW, ROH, NJPW, and UFC. It tracks information on 6,227 people, including wrestlers and fighters, and follows 313 championship lineages. Visitors can browse events by year, promotion, decade, attendance, or series; explore debuts, milestones, and other notable moments; and research title histories, attendance, buy rates, and five-star matches. The site also features On This Day, landmark events, awards, and curated stories from wrestling and MMA history. Additional resources include recommendations for books and documentaries, along with a short history digest delivered by email. Ring History is designed to make the history of the ring easier to discover and explore.
