## Description

Ring of Hope Boxing Club is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving young people and adults in Schenectady and nearby communities. Formerly known as Schenectady Youth Boxing & Fitness, the club was founded by Coach Vince Kittle, who opened his first gym in 2004 to give young people a safe, constructive alternative to dangerous choices. Its mission combines physical well-being, emotional health, moral strength, and a positive outlook, using boxing, fitness, mentoring, and community support to help participants build confidence, discipline, and life skills.

Programs include after-school boxing for children ages 8–14, adult boxing classes, “Train Like a Pro” workouts for ages 15 and older, private training, and a competition team that participates in USA Boxing-sanctioned events. The organization also delivers fitness boxing and mentorship through in-school programs at local elementary, middle, and high schools. Additional offerings include Bible study, chess club, and Rock Steady Boxing. Members can use the fully equipped gym for independent workouts, while coaches provide guidance both inside and beyond the ring.
