## Description

The Réseau International des Organismes de Bassin (RIOB) is dedicated to promoting Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) globally. Founded to facilitate cooperation among various basin organizations, RIOB works towards sustainable water governance by addressing critical challenges such as climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and cross-border collaboration.

The organization operates through regional networks across Europe (EURO-RIOB), the Mediterranean (REMOB), Africa (RAOB), North America (ROBAN), Latin America and the Caribbean (RELOB), as well as Asia and Central Asia (NARBO and EECCA-NWO). RIOB offers a range of services, including strategic planning, the development of information systems, and the organization of international conferences and workshops aimed at fostering dialogue among stakeholders.

Through its initiatives like the Water & Nature initiative and the Water & Climate incubator, RIOB encourages active participation and knowledge sharing among members. By providing resources, funding guidance, and publications, RIOB plays a crucial role in enhancing water management practices worldwide.
