RIPAO is an international network dedicated to promoting the art of public speaking in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Founded in Egypt in 2013 by individuals from 22 countries, RIPAO aims to empower citizens to become responsible, open-minded, and critical thinkers who can positively contribute to their societies. Their mission is to harness the power of public speaking as a tool for social, cultural, and political transformation. The organization achieves this through three core strategies: capacity building, empowerment, and influence. Since its inception, RIPAO has made a significant impact, training 257 public speaking instructors and establishing numerous national public speaking clubs and societies. With headquarters in Alexandria, Egypt, and offices in Ghana, Cameroon, Italy, Burkina Faso, Chad, Togo, and other countries, RIPAO continues to promote the use of public speaking as a means for personal, social, and democratic development.
