## Description

Ripples Wilderness Program is an environmental nonprofit based in Crested Butte, Colorado, offering hands-on nature education for participants aged six and up. Its mission is to increase natural awareness by helping people understand themselves, recognize how their choices affect the world around them, and discover their place within the natural environment. Programs encourage participants to explore nature through sensory activities, including blindfold challenges and barefoot games, as well as sit spots that develop stillness, patience, and close observation. Ripples Wilderness also offers learning in animal behavior, conservation, stream and wetland surveys, primitive skills, leadership challenges, animal tracking, and sensory games. Based in the mountains of Crested Butte, Ripples Wilderness provides an engaging way for children and other learners to build awareness, curiosity, and understanding through direct experience outdoors.
