## Description

Rip Station, operated by Byzantine Port Technologies Inc., is a unique digital marketplace that specializes in graded collectible cards. Based in Panama and a subsidiary of Byzantion Inc., Rip Station allows users to purchase digital packs containing randomized card contents, with each card stored in insured third-party vaults. Although not marketed as gambling, these transactions involve actual graded cards that users can either keep vaulted, ship, or sell back within seven days at 83% of their current estimated market value.

The platform employs Sui blockchain technology to securely maintain records of each vaulted card, ensuring transparency and ownership for users. Rip Station acts purely as a custodial agent, meaning the company does not insure the assets stored in the vaults. Users need to be aware that if the service ends, there is typically a 30-day claim window for their vaulted items. With its innovative approach, Rip Station is reshaping how collectors engage with their beloved card collections.
