Risant Health is a nonprofit organization created by Kaiser Foundation Hospitals to expand access to equitable, high-quality, health-focused care across the United States. Building on Kaiser Permanente’s 80 years of expertise in value-based care, Risant works with community-based nonprofit health systems to help them adopt and advance this approach. Its value-based platform provides participating systems with expertise and capabilities to support care that prioritizes better health outcomes, affordability, and access, rather than focusing only on treating illness. The approach emphasizes evidence-based care, equity, simplicity for patients and clinicians, and aligned incentives across the health system. Risant’s vision is to improve the health of millions of people by connecting like-minded organizations and accelerating the shift toward care and coverage that support overall health.
