## Description

RISE is a high-performance Ethereum Layer 2 designed specifically for onchain financial markets, with mainnet now live. Rather than adapting a general-purpose blockchain for trading, it makes orderbooks a native, programmable EVM primitive. This lets smart contracts interact with orderbooks in a single transaction and supports shared liquidity across applications. RISE reports 1-millisecond latency, peak throughput of more than 50,000 transactions per second, and 5 Ggas/s of compute capacity. Its technology includes a Continuous Block Pipeline and Secured Shred Preconfirmations.

The RISE ecosystem includes RISEx, a fully onchain exchange for trading crypto perpetuals, equities, and commodities around the clock. Features include real-time orderbook updates, unified portfolio margin, and AutoYield, which automatically earns yield on idle margin without lock-ups. The network supports developers building composable onchain markets, including spot and perpetual markets and other orderbook-based applications. RISE also provides a testnet, technical documentation, a blueprint, and community channels for users and builders. Overall, the brand positions its platform as infrastructure for faster, more integrated digital financial markets.
