## Description

RISE is a high-performance Ethereum Layer 2 designed specifically for onchain financial markets. Its core feature is native orderbook infrastructure, enabling smart contracts and applications to interact with markets in a single transaction. The network combines EVM composability with millisecond-level latency and is secured by Ethereum. RISE reports peak throughput of more than 50,000 transactions per second and uses a Continuous Block Pipeline and Secured Shred Preconfirmations.

Its flagship product, RISEx, is a fully onchain exchange for trading perpetuals across crypto, equities, and commodities, with markets available around the clock. RISEx includes real-time orderbook updates, AutoYield for earning yield on idle margin, and portfolio margin that lets positions offset one another within a unified account. RISE also provides shared-liquidity infrastructure for onchain spot markets, perpetuals, and other orderbook-based applications. Developers can build programmable, composable financial products using orderbooks as a native EVM primitive. The RISE ecosystem offers a portal, documentation, a blueprint, and community channels for users and builders. Its mainnet is live.
