## Description

Rugby League Sunshine Coast, also known as Sunshine Coast Gympie Rugby League (SCGRL), is the regional organisation supporting and developing rugby league across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie. With a proud local history dating to 1920, it connects a network of 16 clubs and helps deliver opportunities for players, families, officials and supporters throughout the region.

SCGRL manages fixtures for senior competitions, including A Grade, Reserve Grade, Women’s, C Grade and Under 18s, and works with its junior league branch to coordinate junior fixtures. It also supports development pathways for junior and senior players, referees, coaches, managers, sports trainers and other league personnel. The organisation shares news, events, draws, resources, policies and forms to help clubs and participants take part in the game. Its activities include representative teams, such as those preparing for the 47th Battalion Carnival, and initiatives to welcome new participants, including a women’s League Tag competition. SCGRL also works with local businesses through sponsorship opportunities, helping connect community partners with the region’s clubs and competitions.
