## Description

Solar Hosting is the web services brand of Horus Energy SA, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It provides hosting and digital production services with an emphasis on environmental responsibility, Swiss-based infrastructure, and keeping customer data in Switzerland. Its SolarCloud service offers cloud storage, while EcoWeb provides website hosting and EcoMail offers email hosting powered by solar energy. The company also lists EcoSMS for ecological text messaging, domain name services, and HorusProd for website and promotional video production.

Horus Energy says its photovoltaic installations generate the energy needed to operate its services. It reports offering hosting fully offset by its own solar power plant since 2004, and invites customers to reduce the environmental impact of their online presence through its hosting solutions. Services can be tailored to customer needs, and the company also provides support, webmail, and information through its blog. Beyond its commercial offerings, Horus Energy supports SolarStratos, a project aiming to fly a solar-powered aircraft to the stratosphere.
