## Description

The Asociación Coordinadora Provincial por la Recuperación de la Memoria Histórica de Burgos is a nonprofit organization dedicated to recovering and preserving the historical memory of people who suffered during the Spanish Civil War and Francoist repression. Based in Burgos, Spain, it works to document victims’ experiences, support families seeking information about missing relatives, and promote public understanding of this history.

The association carries out and reports on the search and exhumation of mass graves, publishes technical reports, and maintains information about burial sites and victims of repression across the province. Its resources include a searchable victim database, maps and regional listings of graves, historical documents, and guidance for requesting an exhumation. It also organizes educational talks in schools, public events, exhibitions, book presentations, and tributes to victims. Through news, an events agenda, and shared bibliographies, the organization makes its work and research accessible to the community. People can learn about its activities, contact the association, or become members.
