Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana (RMHC-SLA) is a non-profit organization that provides essential support to families with children at local hospitals. Since 1983, their Ronald McDonald House® and Ronald McDonald Family Room® programs have kept families together during difficult times by offering housing, meals, and psychosocial support. RMHC-SLA works closely with children's healthcare providers to ensure families can stay close to the medical care their ill or injured children need.

Through their Ronald McDonald House, Family Room, and Happy Wheels Hospitality Carts, they provide housing, meals, transportation, community, and psychosocial support to families in need. Each night, they help 25 families stay close to their child and care team, promoting the child's well-being and saving families over $1. 54 million annually in hotel and food expenses.
