They aim to keep families together during challenging times and ensure they remain actively involved in their child's care. The charity operates 13 Houses across the UK, offering a welcoming and supportive environment for families. They provide accommodation for families who live far from the hospital, enabling them to stay close to their child without the added financial burden of finding temporary housing. In addition to offering accommodation, Ronald McDonald House Charities UK also offers day passes, allowing families to use their facilities during the day for activities such as cooking, showering, and spending quality time together. The charity relies on the generosity of fundraisers and donations to continue supporting families in need. Their vision is for every child in the hospital to have their family nearby and ensure families receive the support they require.
