## Description

ZDHC is a multi-stakeholder organisation working to make fashion and textile manufacturing safer and more sustainable. Its community includes more than 400 signatories, including brands, suppliers, solution providers, textile machinery manufacturers and chemical formulators. Through its Roadmap to Zero Programme, ZDHC helps the industry eliminate harmful chemicals from global supply chains, supporting the protection of workers, consumers and ecosystems.

The organisation develops and maintains guidelines, digital platforms and practical solutions across three connected areas: Input, Process and Output. Its Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (ZDHC MRSL) sets parameters for restricting harmful chemicals, while resources such as the ZDHC Gateway, ChemCheck and InCheck reports support safer chemical choices and transparency. Process tools help facilities implement and assess chemical management practices. Output resources include wastewater guidelines for textiles, leather and man-made cellulosic fibres, as well as air-emissions guidance.

ZDHC also offers supplier programmes, implementation toolkits, training through the ZDHC Academy, expert-finding and collaboration platforms, and industry events. Together, these services help fashion value-chain participants put sustainable chemical management into practice.
