## Description

Rocha Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts gym in North Little Rock, Arkansas, serving students from nearby communities across central Arkansas. Founded in December 2023 by co-owners Alexandre Rocha and Matt McAlister, the gym grew from private lessons into a dedicated training space. Head instructor Rocha brings more than 15 years of martial arts experience, beginning with Muay Thai before focusing on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

The gym offers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and women’s self-defense classes, welcoming people interested in competition, fitness, or personal development. Instruction emphasizes careful breakdown of techniques and guidance for students prepared to put in the effort. Rocha’s family-oriented environment promotes camaraderie, discipline, respect, perseverance, leadership, and personal growth, while supporting students across skill levels. The academy also has competition teams for those who want to pursue the sport competitively.

New students can try a free week of training, and families may receive 50% off membership dues for their second and third participating family members.
