## Description

Rockbridge Fair and Expo is a community-focused annual event celebrating the people, traditions, and talents of Rockbridge County, Virginia. Organized by a group of local community members, volunteers, and lifelong fair enthusiasts, the fair brings together agriculture, creativity, and family-friendly entertainment. The 2026 event is scheduled for September 10–12 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington.

Visitors can enjoy fair rides and activities, take part in contests such as pie eating, and explore exhibits featuring entries like homemade jams. The program also welcomes livestock exhibitors and highlights the county’s agricultural heritage. Creative accomplishments are showcased through events and attractions such as the quilt show, while the fair book and map help visitors learn about the schedule and grounds. The organization also provides information and signup opportunities for food and beverage vendors, trade and nonprofit vendors, and sponsors. A pageant is among the fair’s featured offerings. With its emphasis on community participation and a welcoming atmosphere, Rockbridge Fair and Expo offers residents and visitors a chance to celebrate local culture and enjoy a shared county tradition.
