## Description

The American Rocketry Challenge, established in 2002, is the largest student rocket competition globally, attracting over 110,000 middle and high school students in model rocketry. This program offers participants a yearlong opportunity to gain hands-on engineering experience by designing, building, testing, and launching model rockets according to strict requirements. Through this immersive experience, students not only cultivate a deep interest in aerospace and STEM but also enhance vital skills such as leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. 

The initiative is coordinated by the National Center for Advanced Technologies and supported by the Aerospace Industries Association, a leading trade organization in aerospace. Additionally, the National Association of Rocketry, with a history dating back to 1957, promotes safety and innovation in the spacemodeling hobby.
