Habitat Rockford, founded in 1988, is the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate serving Winnebago County, Illinois. Our mission goes beyond simply building houses - it's about empowering homeowners and strengthening our community. We are dedicated to providing improved housing opportunities by constructing simple, decent, and affordable homes for families currently residing in substandard housing.

Our selection process is based on the need for adequate housing, the ability to make mortgage payments, and a willingness to actively participate in our program.
