## Description

Rockhampton Oztag brings people together through a fun, family-friendly version of tag football, welcoming female and male players aged 5 to 60 and over. Players can join individually or take part with friends and an existing team, with options for beginners and experienced competitors alike. The organisation runs three seasons each year, starting in February, June and September, and offers junior boys’, junior girls’, junior mixed, senior mixed, senior women’s and senior men’s teams. All divisions are welcome.

Oztag is a limited-contact sport with no tackling; players stop an opponent by removing a tag from the side of their shorts. Games offer opportunities to enjoy sport, build fitness and choose a level of effort that suits each player. Rockhampton Oztag aims to make participation enjoyable, with music at weekly games, prizes and a barbecue at the end of each season. The organisation provides information for junior and senior players, along with registration, news, resources and details about its representative scene.
