## Description

The RockNRoll Chorus is a vocal ensemble built around a simple idea: no instruments, just voices. Since its 2007 debut album, What They Didn’t Teach Us in School, the group has toured extensively and performed a wide range of music, interpreting each song with strong ensemble singing and an aim to capture its original sound, feeling, and energy. For the chorus, “rock and roll” describes an attitude of authenticity, strength, and confident independence rather than a single musical style.

The group has performed with and opened for artists including Bruce Springsteen, Darlene Love, Judy Collins, Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, Sara Bareilles, Jefferson Airplane, Foreigner, Kenny Loggins, and Jay Leno. Its recordings include No Guilt ’Til Monday, Listen Like This, Everybody’s Christmas, Rounding 3rd, and Take a Second Look. The chorus has appeared on the Grammy ballot several times in categories including Best Performance by a Pop Vocal Group or Duo and Album of the Year.
