RockStarts® is an innovative and engaging program that was founded in Los Angeles, CA at the turn of the millennium. Its founder, Aaron Nigel Smith, a visionary musician, realized the transformative power of music and movement for children and started creating songs that inspire the best in kids. With a library of award-winning music, his songs take children on joyful imaginative journeys, explore the world outside, and use creative metaphors to guide their growth.

To bring this much-needed arts enrichment to children across the city, Aaron and his wife Diedre developed the FUNdamentals of Music and Movement program. This program quickly spread from California to the East Coast, and in 2014, Kimberly Harris and her husband Trey, licensed the FUNdamentals materials and created a fully-integrated curriculum and performance company, now known as RockStarts®. They introduced new songs, lessons, and organization to the program.
