# Rocky Mountain Wolf Project

## Description

The Rocky Mountain Wolf Project is dedicated to restoring gray wolves to their ancestral hunting grounds in the Rockies. Our mission is to increase public understanding of gray wolf behavior, ecology, and options for re-establishing the species throughout the Rocky Mountains. We strive for the day when wolves freely roam the snow-capped peaks, rim rock canyons, and primeval forests of the Rockies once more. Through disseminating science-based information, engaging Coloradans in coexistence practices, and fostering enthusiasm for wolf restoration, we work collaboratively with wildlife biologists, landowners, and conservationists to advocate for the best scientific practices in wolf restoration decisions. Join us in supporting the reintroduction of wolves to Colorado and learn more about our efforts by visiting our website or contacting us directly. Together, we can make a difference in the conservation of these iconic predators.
