## Description

The Regroupement des organismes de conservation du Québec (ROCQ) is a Québec-based organization that supports and unites people and organizations working to conserve nature. Founded in 1993 and formerly known as the Réseau de milieux naturels protégés, ROCQ aims to encourage and bring together conservation stakeholders across Québec to preserve biodiversity for the benefit of the public. It works alongside conservation organizations, which have contributed to protecting biodiversity for more than a century, particularly on privately owned lands in southern Québec.

ROCQ promotes voluntary conservation and helps its members and beneficiaries advance their work in the field. Its services and resources include a directory for finding conservation organizations, practical tools, publications, and the Revue Natura. It also organizes events and provides opportunities to learn about conservation practices and collaborate with others. Through its information, training, and networking activities, ROCQ helps build the capacity of organizations that serve the public interest by protecting natural areas. Individuals can learn about its work, find an organization, support conservation, and subscribe to its newsletter.
