## Description

The Slovensko rodoslovno društvo (Slovenian Genealogical Society) is a dedicated organization established in 1995 to unite genealogy enthusiasts in Slovenia. Located in Kamnik, it aims to share knowledge and experiences among its members, facilitating a deeper understanding of genealogy. The society operates through voluntary efforts, offering valuable resources and support to both members and non-members. Regular monthly meetings provide a platform for members to exchange information and insights, complemented by professional lectures.

Additionally, the society publishes a genealogy magazine titled "Drevesa," contributing to the broader field of Slovenian genealogy. Members engage in research that often intersects with history, heraldry, geography, and other disciplines. The society also encourages collaboration on advanced projects such as printed publications and exhibitions. By fostering a supportive community and providing practical tools, the Slovensko rodoslovno društvo creates an enriching environment for genealogical research, helping to shape the identity of Slovenian genealogy both locally and internationally.
