## Description

Rogier van der Heide is a lighting design practice led by the designer of the same name, creating distinctive lighting experiences for buildings, public spaces and cultural projects. Its work spans façade, landmark, art and culture, and interior lighting, with projects in locations around the world. Featured examples include BBC Broadcasting House in London, the Beijing Olympic Stadium, Canton Tower in Guangzhou, the Sheikh Zayed Bridge in Abu Dhabi, the Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and Apple Stores worldwide.

The practice helps clients transform buildings into memorable experiences that inspire joy, imagination and a sense of discovery. Its approach combines curiosity and creativity with practical, financially viable solutions. Rather than treating lighting as a purely functional feature, the work uses it to shape how people experience architecture, places and art.

Rogier van der Heide shares his expertise through talks and offers ways for audiences to follow lighting design inspiration.
