## Description

Rogue Valley Humane Society (RVHS) is a no-kill, not-for-profit animal shelter serving Grants Pass and the wider Rogue Valley region of Southern Oregon. Its work focuses on helping animals and supporting the people who care for them, with a mission to save lives through sheltering, adoption, and community services. RVHS offers dogs and cats for adoption, along with foster opportunities, volunteer roles, and programs such as Barn Buddies. Its veterinary services include spay and neuter surgeries for shelter pets and community animals, provided through its clinic with support from a part-time staff veterinarian. The organization also offers low-cost spay and neuter vouchers, including support for community cats, and operates a pet food bank that helps local families supplement food for their pets. Additional services include a neonate kitten nursery, humane education, and emergency response support. RVHS relies on donations, volunteers, community partners, and fundraising initiatives to sustain its programs. Through these efforts, it works to reduce pet overpopulation, keep animals with families, and improve animal welfare across its region.
