## Description

Gugge Rohrspatzen is a carnival music club based in Mümliswil, Switzerland, founded on 2 April 1971 by 13 members. One of the region’s longstanding Guggenmusik groups, it brings lively brass and percussion music to carnival celebrations and other events. The club has its own rehearsal and clubhouse, established in 2000, where members meet for weekly and sectional rehearsals during the season. Its annual programme begins with a traditional rehearsal weekend in late August and builds toward the carnival season, with performances at events including the carnivals of Sion and Murten, the Adelboden World Cup gathering, and an international Guggenmusik meeting in Austria.

Beyond music, Rohrspatzen values friendship and community, with social activities such as outings, barbecues, bowling and sports tournaments. The club welcomes new members interested in carnival music and offers trial rehearsals. Its website provides information about members, repertoire, photos, videos and upcoming events, along with opportunities to contact or book the group.
