## Description

Roland Khater is an author whose work explores psychoanalysis and the religion of Ancient Egypt. His website presents two books built around a distinctive theory of the self, the superego, and the formation of the unconscious, offering an alternative perspective to Freudian concepts. In The Self and the Formation of the Unconscious, Khater examines the structure and dynamics of the self, proposing new parameters for understanding the superego and the unconscious. He then applies this approach to the Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead in Decoding of the Religion of Ancient Egypt, interpreting its contents as a coherent system. The site introduces Khater and his writings, and provides extracts from both books for readers to explore. Visitors can also download the books free of charge; if a download is unavailable, Khater offers to send a copy by email. The website is dedicated to presenting these publications and their ideas, rather than advertising a broader range of products or services. It also provides contact details for reaching the author.
