## Description

Rolesville Lightning Track and Field Club is a youth sports organization offering track and field training and competition for athletes ages 5 to 18. Registered with USATF and AAU, the club aims to build athletic skills while encouraging healthy lifestyles, self-confidence, and discipline through consistent practice and guidance. Its experienced coaching team is led by head coach Hillary Leacock, who brings more than 25 years of experience as an athlete and youth coach. Training covers sprints, jumping events, running form, conditioning, and general track and field development. The club also emphasizes whole-body wellness, with warm-ups, stretching, mobility drills, plyometrics, cool-downs, injury prevention, and sports nutrition incorporated into its approach. Several athletes qualify for and compete in national-level events each year. The outdoor season runs from March through August, with practices held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings. Rolesville Lightning also offers athlete registration and welcomes coaches and parent volunteers, who must complete background screenings. The website shares training and nutrition articles, coach information, event details, and club updates.
