## Description

The Rome-Floyd E.C.O. Center is a natural resource education center in Rome, Georgia, inspiring children and adults to learn about and experience the ecology of Northwest Georgia. Its educational approach combines live wildlife, engaging infographics, and interactive exhibits to make learning memorable. The center offers school programs and field trips, along with other educational programs and public events. Visitors can also explore resources on topics including injured wildlife, pollinators, and reptile surrender, and learn about Bee Rome, one of the center’s featured programs.

Walk-in visitors are welcome to take a free, self-guided tour of the facility’s wildlife exhibits and infographics. Regular visiting hours are Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the last Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. During the school year, weekday mornings are generally reserved for programs and field trips, though the center may open earlier when it is not in use.
